Answers to your questions

  • What all is involved in taking the course?
    There is a 5 hour online portion of the course that must be completed no more than 30 days prior to the range sessions. There is 11 hours of riding instruction on the range conducted over two days for the basic course and 8 hours in one day for the experienced course.
  • What all will I need to take the course?
    - eCourse completion proof - Photo ID - Eye protection (sunglasses or prescription eyeglasses will suffice). If your personal helmet has a protective, transparent shield, you may use that as eye protection. - Long sleeves (shirt or jacket that goes to your wrists) - Long jeans (no holes/wide legs) - Boots or sturdy high-top shoes that completely cover your ankle bones on the inside and outside of your legs - Gloves that completely cover your fingers and hands (no fingerless gloves) Optional gear: Rain suit, cool collar, sunscreen, snacks. (Be prepared for changing weather) Optional Warm-Weather: Bring lots of cold water/sports drinks. You will be out on the range for several hours and it may be hot.
  • What does TOTMCT provide?
    - a training motorcycle for use in class - a DOT approved helmet (you can bring your own but it must be DOT approved and be able to be visually verified) - workbook, pens, etc. - water
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    Once payment is received, no refunds will be given unless TOTMCT cancels a course. If cancellation by the student is necessary, the student must contact us by phone five (5) business days prior to the first class session in order to receive credit towards another session. A student who does not show up for training or who leaves during any part of the training for any reason forfeits the fee and must pay the full fee again to reschedule another class. A student arriving after the start time of the class will not be admitted to the class, will forfeit the fee, and must pay the full fee to schedule another class. There are no refunds given for student cancellations. There are no refunds if a student fails to pass the course. Top of Texas Motorcycle Training LLC assumes no responsibility for classes missed as a result of illness, emergencies, or other events beyond its control.
  • Where are the classes held?
    The range portion of the instruction is held either at the Recreation Park Softball Fields Parking Lot located at 12065 E. Frederick or at Pampa Junior High School located at 4000 Bad Cattle Company Rd. Both ranges are located in Pampa, TX.
